✨Join me on the quest of self-discovery on the new Holly moon on July 31, 2019 through to the full Hazel moon on September 14.✨
The portal is now open for REWEAVING ENCHANTMENT! Have you lost that sense of childlike wonder? Does your life seem rather empty and devoid of meaning? Or perhaps you find yourself at a crossroads, unsure as to the next step as you traverse the labyrinth of life? This is an invitation to join me on a six week quest of self-discovery!
It's time to re-wild, re-connect, and re-weave your story threads into the FAIRYTALE that you get to create.
Are you ready for the key to unlock the garden gate?
I believe we collaborated with what I like to think of as the Fates, to weave our stories before we were even born. Yet, somewhere along the way we inevitably dropped our story threads, took wrong turnings, and found ourselves walking completely different paths from the ones we agreed on.
So REWEAVING ENCHANTMENT is about delving deep into our buried memories, seeking some of those old story threads we may have forgotten about, and purposefully and with intention re-weaving then into the stories we actually want to live!
What can I expect when I sign-up?
You will receive the key to the Secret Garden, our password protected/members only page which houses all of the course materials soon after your register for this course. Everything you will need to complete this course will be on this page--from course videos, to suggested reading, to daily journal prompts, to all of our magical activities. There will also be a secret Facebook page for members of our little community. It will be a place where we can share our thoughts and insights, our creative projects, and build sisterhood with like-minded classmates.
Is there required reading for this course?
You will be required to read a selection of fairytales. These can be accessed online, free of charge. I also provide a list of recommended reading. As a member of The Secret Garden, you get the opportunity to send me personal messages asking for recommendations. Although we will all be working on completing the same projects, this course can be tailor-made for each individual.
What other materials are necessary for completing this course?
The main thing you will need is a blank book. This will be your Enchanted Notebook. It doesn't have to be fancy, but you do need to personalize it and make it your own. This book will be a place for you to record your nature observations, answer the journal prompts, add collages and sketches. You will also need whatever materials you need to complete a final major creative project. This can be anything from a series of drawings, to photographs, to sculpture, to writing a song. This course will help you tap into your creativity, allowing it to blossom intuitively in the manner that fits you.
What sorts of activities will we complete during this six-week course?
We will read and analyze fairytales, unearth our personal archetypes and symbols, create collages and other art works, build nature altars, and more. There will be some optional activities which you can choose to complete at a later date if you so wish. I will provide recipes for magical potions, words to inspire, insights into my own wild woman ways, and other little surprises. This course is generously sprinkled with magic and surprise treats.
Is this course different from Unearthing Your Story, and do I need to have taken Unearthing Your Story to benefit from this course?
This course does differ from Unearthing Your Story. Unearthing Your Story was much more intensive and covered a lot more material. It took you back to your childhood, to help you discover the stories which helped form you into the person you are today. You do not need to have taken Unearthing Your Story to benefit from REWEAVING ENCHANTMENT, as this course delves into your story in this moment. You will analyze the fairytale you have always loved best, and will discover the fairytale you are currently living. You will also get to connect with nature, infuse your life with magic, reawaken creativity, and rewrite your fairytale in the pattern you wish.
What will we do each week in REWEAVING ENCHANTMENT?
July 31- August 6, 2019. This week is our introductory week. We begin on the new Holly moon, which is the moon of magical celebrations and kinship. We bless and decorate our Enchanted Notebooks, consider our favorite fairy tales, and introduce ourselves to one another in our private Facebook group (if you choose to join).
Waxing Moon/Increased Energy
August 7-13, 2019
The moon is waxing, and our energy increases too. This week we read several fairy tales and begin analyzing them, jot down ideas for final creative projects, create collages, and spend time in nature creating sacred spaces.
A Meeting With Faeries
August 14-20, 2019
The moon is full on June 17th. This week I take you on a guided journey to meet your Faery spirit guides and helpers. You delve more fully into unearthing the symbols and archetypes in your stories, and decide on your final creative project.
August 21-27, 2019
The moon is waning now. It is time to release the story threads you have outgrown. We work with our shadow stories and archetypes, do a ritual in nature, and I offer a surprise gift.
A New Story/REWEAVING ENCHANTMENT
August 28-September 3, 2019.
It is the new Hazel moon, the moon of wisdom and abundance. This week we begin creating our final creative projects. We begin rewriting our stories into the ones we actually want to live.
September 4-14, 2019
Our course ends on the full Hazel moon. We are left feeling empowered and renewed. We share our final stories/creative projects and complete final journal prompts.
I believe in magic, stories, and living life to the fullest. I also believe that tea is the best cure for most ailments. In my family, we always put the kettle on at the first hint of the blues. We also put the kettle on when we are feeling joyful, so I suppose we just love tea.
I have been pursuing the old ways as a wise woman and mystic for over twenty years, and have been teaching courses and workshops for eight years. I feel fortunate that I was able to facilitate women's circles as the requirement for my practicum when I was a graduate student, so I have an academic background in women's spirituality, archetypes, and sense of place in literature too. I was educated in art and design at Bournemouth and Poole College, cultural studies at State University of New York, and eco-feminism and eco-literature at Prescott College. I’m also a trained Reiki Master.
I always welcome messages from kindred souls and the curious, so feel free to send me a message here.
As a shamanic healing practitioner with various modalities under my belt, I was still very drawn to Cait’s program Unearthing Your Story. It turned out to be a gift to myself. I discovered aspects of myself in a much more playful, reflective, and meaningful way than I ever have before. While much of my past work involved investigating my “wounds,” I love how this program asked me to investigate the magical aspects of my inner child as well. Which themes have been alive in my psyche since a youngster? What have I always been attracted to? The most transformative element of this program was the module on childhood. I feel like I retrieved magic and power that I had forgotten about. Had I become so serious and invested in my work that I forgot about the mystery and magic present in a child’s heart?
This course provided me with a different lens into my life story. Rather than simply viewing my path as that of the “wounded healer,” I revived threads of love within my soul that persisted throughout my life. I am so, so grateful. Thank you!
—Mona Moon, shamanic healer, about Unearthing Your Story.
I received the first lesson of Cait's course as a gift, and although I'm only half way through the lesson, I already know I'll be investing in the full course soon. Cait's wisdom and old-soul personality create the perfect teacher in this course. Her insightful questions brought up feelings and thoughts I hadn't let myself explore before, and I know this course will continue to guide me along a path of self discovery that is very timely for me in my life right now. I highly recommend this course to anyone wishing to better understand who you are and what story you want to tell. If you're a creative heart who wants more meaning and magic in her life, this is for you. xx
—Logan Miehl, author, about lesson one in Unearthing Your Story.
Cait's workshop is a new way of looking at our lives. It is almost a secret passageway to your self that perhaps you never considered. Kind of like the wardrobe to Narnia. I found myself reflecting on my life so far in relation to strong characters and identified themes that I wanted to either maintain, or transform into something else.
It is empowering and liberating to have this experience, and Caits skills as a listener and her intuitive nature are the perfect support on your way through the process. Her care and attention to detail make the entire experience meaningful and effective. This course, whether you take one part or all, will be a gift to yourself, which in turn will be a gift to others as you discover a little bit more about who you are, and what you want your world to look like.
